Junior Account Assistant

Job Description – Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support the senior accountant/CA in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and Income Tax Returns (ITR) accurately and on time.

· Work on Tally ERP for accounting, invoicing, reconciliation, and report generation.

· Prepare financial statements and support statutory audit processes.

· Assist in preparing MIS reports and financial analysis as required by management.

· Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and debtor/creditor management.

· Work under the guidance of a Chartered Accountant (CA) for compliance, audit, and tax-related matters.

· Handle office accounting correspondence and liaise with clients/vendors when required.

Key Skills & Requirements:

· Good knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR, and other tax compliance.

· Proficiency in Tally ERP and accounting software.

· Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.

· Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com, M.Com or equivalent).

· 0–2 years of experience in accounting (freshers with good knowledge can also apply).

· Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a CA firm.
