About the Role

We are hiring an experienced and motivated Junior Sous Chef to be a key part of the culinary leadership team at the flagship restaurant of one of India's most acclaimed celebrity chefs. This is a premium opportunity for a chef passionate about India’s rich royal culinary traditions, bringing timeless flavors and techniques into a refined, modern dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
• Supervise and support CDPs and Commis in executing dishes inspired by India’s royal kitchens.
• Maintain consistency, authenticity, and creativity in all dishes, aligned with the brand’s culinary vision.
• Contribute to menu planning and R&D, especially in the royal Indian cuisine segments.
• Manage kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and inventory control.
• Ensure smooth operations during service and support staff training and development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership or Jr. Sous Chef role.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with royal Indian cuisines (Mughlai, Awadhi, Hyderabadi, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead a team in a high-pressure, fine-dining environment.
• Strong sense of taste, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
