Jr. Software Tester

We are hiring a Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications by performing thorough manual and automation testing. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, verifying fixes, and ensuring applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The role involves collaborating with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Manual Testing and Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (like JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Validate application performance, usability, and compatibility across different environments.
• Stay updated with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in software testing.
• Ensure testing deliverables are aligned with industry standards and project requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Industry certifications in Software Testing (ISTQB, Selenium, etc.) preferred.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and bug tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Automation Testing tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit).
• Understanding of API Testing (Postman/SoapUI) and Database Testing.
• Knowledge of scripting (Java, Python, or similar) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
