Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester with at least 1 year of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that the final product meets the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues.
Review and understand software requirements, design test plans, and create detailed test scenarios.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing.
Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
Ensure the software meets business and technical requirements before release.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Mantis).
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium (added advantage).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
