Jr. Software Tester

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, conducting various types of testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying and reporting software defects, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for biomedical and healthcare IT software. - Conduct functional, usability, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective test scenarios. - Identify and report software defects with clear and detailed documentation. - Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and enhancements. - Work closely with the development team to replicate and validate reported issues. - Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools. - Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies in the biomedical and healthcare IT sector. - Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. - Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, documenting test results, and logging bugs. - Experience in logging bugs in JIRA. - Strong understanding of the healthcare industry standards and regulations. - Experience in testing healthcare software applications is a plus. - Experience in automation testing using Python is a must. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing within the biomedical and healthcare IT sector.
