Jr. Software Tester

As a Junior Software Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Collaborating with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues. - Reviewing and understanding software requirements, designing test plans, and creating detailed test scenarios. - Performing regression, functional, integration, and UI testing. - Participating in test planning and estimation activities. - Ensuring the software meets business and technical requirements before release. To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. - Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. - Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Mantis). - Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. - Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium (added advantage). - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Good communication and documentation skills.
