We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Tester for our Biomedical and Healthcare IT team located in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products that cater to the biomedical and healthcare industry. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our biomedical and healthcare IT software.
• Conduct functional, usability, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and system architecture to create effective test scenarios.
• Identify and report software defects, providing clear and detailed documentation of issues and their resolutions.
• Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and enhancements, ensuring that previously identified defects have been addressed.
• Work closely with the development team to replicate and validate reported issues.
• Able to identify, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for efficient and effective testing.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in the biomedical and healthcare IT sector to improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in writing Test cases, Test Scenarios, Documenting Test Results, logging bugs, etc.
• Experience in logging bugs in JIRA.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including standards and regulations related to healthcare data and systems.
• Experience in testing healthcare software applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, medical imaging software, or healthcare data analytics platforms is a plus.
• Experience in automation testing using python is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and isolate software defects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test cases, test results, and defect reports accurately.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing (Automation testing is an additional advantage) within the biomedical and healthcare IT sector.
