Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Jr SEO Analyst located in Chennai. The Jr SEO Analyst will be responsible for performing keyword research, building backlinks, and optimising on-page SEO. Day-to-day tasks include utilising web analytics to track performance, implementing SEO strategies, and collaborating with the marketing team to increase web traffic and search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend studies.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, schema, internal linking).
• Execute off-page SEO activities (backlink building, outreach, directory submissions).
• Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers.
• Optimise website content, blogs, and landing pages for higher search visibility.
• Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Prepare performance reports with actionable insights.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of proven SEO experience.
• Strong knowledge of On-page, Off-page & Technical SEO.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix).
• Experience in the aviation training industry is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
