Jr. Event Planner

Role Overview: As an Event Planner in Kochi, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events such as corporate events, weddings, social functions, exhibitions, and brand activations. Your role will involve coordinating with clients, sourcing and managing vendors, conducting site visits, monitoring budgets and timelines, supervising event setup and breakdown, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Additionally, you will need to handle last-minute changes or emergencies efficiently and travel frequently within the city for meetings, site inspections, and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute various events including corporate events, weddings, social functions, exhibitions, and brand activations - Coordinate with clients to understand their event goals and preferences - Source and manage vendors such as venue, catering, decor, AV, etc. - Conduct site visits and manage on-ground event logistics - Monitor event budgets and timelines - Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown - Handle last-minute changes or emergencies efficiently - Ensure all events run smoothly and deliver exceptional client satisfaction - Travel frequently within the city for meetings, site inspections, and vendor coordination Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field - 1 year of experience in event planning or a related role - Strong communication and negotiation abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as per event schedule Please note that a valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving license is essential for this role due to on-site coordination, vendor visits, and travel within and around Kochi. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.,
