Role: Joist & Girder Detailer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and review detailed drawings for

  Steel Joists, Girders, and Decks

  following industry standards (Canam standards preferred).
• Lead and manage a team of detailers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients across global offices to ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform quality control and checking of drawings, BOMs, and reports before submission.
• Work with

  AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard tools

  to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to the design process by applying knowledge of steel structures, joists, and deck systems.
• Support the team in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of proven experience in

  Steel Joist and Deck detailing, checking, and design

  .
• Strong experience as a

  Team Leader

  or in a supervisory role, with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related detailing software

  .
• Understanding of

  Canam standards

  or equivalent industry standards.
• Knowledge of

  joist design software

  (Desgo or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a

  multinational corporate environment

  .
• Willingness to work in a

  hybrid culture

  (partially remote, partially in-office).

Work Culture & Office Timings

• Hybrid work option

  : Flexibility to work remotely and in-office. Ideally, twice a week in-office presence is encouraged for collaboration, but this can be mutually adjusted.

• Working Hours

  : 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime is

  recorded and compensated

  along with the monthly salary.

Support & Setup

• The company provides the

  necessary official setup

  for work-from-home.
• Owning a personal laptop will be considered an advantage.
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Hike

  : Minimum

  15% increment

  from your current CTC upon joining. Additional increments are performance-based and offered upon confirmation.
