Our Steel Joist & Deck Detailing division is expanding, and we are seeking skilled professionals to join our team. Role: Joist & Girder Detailer Key Responsibilities Prepare, check, and review detailed drawings for Steel Joists, Girders, and Decks following industry standards (Canam standards preferred). Lead and manage a team of detailers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients across global offices to ensure project requirements are met. Perform quality control and checking of drawings, BOMs, and reports before submission. Work with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard tools to deliver high-quality outputs. Contribute to the design process by applying knowledge of steel structures, joists, and deck systems. Support the team in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of proven experience in Steel Joist and Deck detailing, checking, and design . Strong experience as a Team Leader or in a supervisory role, with the ability to guide and motivate team members. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related detailing software . Understanding of Canam standards or equivalent industry standards. Knowledge of joist design software (Desgo or equivalent) is an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multinational corporate environment . Willingness to work in a hybrid culture (partially remote, partially in-office). Work Culture & Office Timings Hybrid work option : Flexibility to work remotely and in-office. Ideally, twice a week in-office presence is encouraged for collaboration, but this can be mutually adjusted. Working Hours : 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday. Overtime is recorded and compensated along with the monthly salary. Support & Setup The company provides the necessary official setup for work-from-home. Owning a personal laptop will be considered an advantage. Compensation & Benefits Salary Hike : Minimum 15% increment from your current CTC upon joining. Additional increments are performance-based and offered upon confirmation. You will be expected to be available during working hours, regardless of your work location. Overtime – Yes, all overtime work is tracked and compensated. Software Tools – Primarily AutoCAD and Bluebeam. Canam standards are followed for joist and deck detailing. Sample Projects – Once we confirm collaboration, we will share sample CAD files and BOM for review.
