Service Engineer – RA Mines Job Description: To support the service team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing underground mining equipment such as drill rigs, loaders (LHDs), and mine trucks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of underground mining machines. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Identify hazards, report incidents, and implement corrective measures. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with the customer's Pit Superintendent to report and manage machine damages. Maintain machine availability /MTBF/MTTR as per contractual requirements. Administrative and Planning Support: Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, timesheets, and equipment catalogue. Assist the Maintenance Planner with reports and maintenance scheduling. Control costs within set parameters and optimize equipment life. Strong technical expertise with Epiroc machinery. Proficient in computer systems and maintenance management software. Rotational shifts and extended hours may be required based on site needs. Qualification, Skills and Experience: Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical /automobile Engineering 2-5 years experience in HEMM industry Hand on experience on component repair (cylinder/pump/Rockdrill/Compressor Etc.) Hydraulic & electrical system competent on underground machinery. HVAC system must be knowledgeable . Ability to work on critical environments. Ability to work independent.
