Role & responsibilities Job Title: Customer Service Specialist (CSS) Band: L1 Reports to : Department Manager Key Responsibilities: Customer Service : Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner. Assist customers in finding products and answering questions about product features, pricing, and availability. Provide product demonstrations, if applicable. Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating them to management if necessary. Sales : Actively promote store products and services to meet and exceed sales goals. Ensure that merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when items need to be reordered. Assist in periodic inventory counts as needed. Store Maintenance : Keep the store clean, tidy, and well-organized. Ensure aisles and displays are free from clutter and hazards. Report any store maintenance or safety concerns to management. Teamwork : Collaborate with team members and management to create a positive work environment. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required. Other Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support store operations. Key Qualifications: High School (10+2) / Diploma or equivalent Customer service or retail experience (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays Basic math skills for handling transactions and counting inventory Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (depending on store requirements)

Desired Candidate Profile: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production Engineering . 3+ years of relevant experience in tool room operations , ideally in the automotive/forging/precision components industry .
