Job Title: National Sales Manager – Food Division
Location: India
Experience: 7–12 years (Food Safety / Diagnostics preferred)
Role Overview
We are looking for a National Sales Manager for our Food Division. The role involves managing nationwide sales, developing new sales channels, and appointing and supporting distributors across India.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow sales for the Food Safety product portfolio (PCR kits, microbiology kits, allergens, extraction, etc.).
· Identify, appoint, and manage distributors in all major regions.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with food manufacturers, testing labs, and key customers.
· Support regional sales teams to achieve monthly and annual targets.
· Plan sales strategies, pricing, and forecasting in coordination with management.
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
· Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates.
Qualifications
· 7–12 years of sales experience in food safety, diagnostics, laboratory products, or related sectors.
· Prior experience handling channel partners or distributors.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Willingness to travel across India as required.

Recommended Degree Requirement
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, or similar) required.
o MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
Market Knowledge
§ Understanding of PCR workflows, microbiology kits, food safety testing, or related diagnostics.
§ Awareness of competitors, pricing trends, and market demand in India’s food sector.
