Role Overview: As a skilled JIRA Administrator and Data Analyst at Reputation, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the JIRA instance while also analyzing data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Your role will involve configuring and managing JIRA projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions, as well as gathering data from various sources for analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Configuration & Management: Configure and manage JIRA projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions to meet organizational needs. - User Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions; ensure proper access control and user support. - System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning. - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to JIRA software and plugins; provide technical support to end-users. - Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain JIRA dashboards, filters, and reports to provide insights into project status and performance. - Data Collection & Integration: Gather data from various sources, including JIRA, databases, and external systems; integrate and clean data for analysis. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies; generate reports and visualizations to support business decisions. - Insights & Recommendations: Provide actionable insights based on data analysis; recommend improvements for processes and systems. - Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure that analysis meets business requirements. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5 years of progressive experience in system administration, data analysis, or a related technical role. - Proven experience in JIRA administration and support. - Strong experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools. - Proficiency in JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and related Atlassian tools. - Experience with JIRA plugins and extensions (e.g., ScriptRunner, eazyBI). - Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management. - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. - Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
