Job Description

We are looking for a skilled JIRA Administrator to join our team on an immediate contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in administering JIRA and related tools, with extensive knowledge of setting up Jira projects, workflows, fields, screens, and permissions.

Roles and Responsibility

Set up and manage Jira projects, including creating workflows, fields, screens, and permissions.
Develop and maintain complex Groovy scripts for automation and integration.
Create shell scripts to automate daily tasks and integrate with external tools.
Collaborate with business ambassadors to gather requirements and document processes.
Handle support tickets and follow Agile support handling processes.
Work with standalone servers and Data Centre server installations.

Job Requirements

Extensive knowledge of setting up Jira projects, workflows, fields, screens, and permissions.
Knowledge of commonly used Jira and Confluence plugins.
Experience working with standalone servers and Data Centre server installations.
Ability to create shell scripts to automate day-to-day tasks and build integrations with external tools.
Understanding of complex Groovy scripts and shell scripts involving tool integrations within the CI/CD pipeline.
Complete end-to-end knowledge of developing Groovy scripts from scratch for requests ranging from simple field value updates to complex integrations with external tools.
Basic knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo is beneficial for understanding integrations and automations built using scripting.
Basic knowledge of Linux servers and commands for navigating through configuration files.
Knowledge of application version upgrades for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
Basic knowledge of Postgres Database.
Knowledge of migrating projects from one instance to another.
Knowledge of migrating to Atlassian cloud and from cloud to Datacentre.
