Counter sales Job Summary The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers, showcasing silver jewellery, closing sales, and maintaining an excellent in-store experience. The role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and basic billing and inventory handling. Key Responsibilities Greet customers politely and understand their jewellery requirements Display and explain silver jewellery designs, purity, pricing, and care instructions Assist customers in selecting products and closing sales Handle billing, cash/card/UPI payments, and generate invoices accurately Maintain cleanliness and attractive display of counters and showcases Manage daily stock handling, tagging, and basic inventory records Coordinate with the store manager for stock replenishment and reporting Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally Follow showroom policies related to security, billing, and customer handling Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum education: 10th / 12th pass (Graduation preferred) Prior experience in jewellery, retail, or counter sales preferred Basic knowledge of silver jewellery, weights, and pricing (training can be provided) Good communication and interpersonal skills Honest, well-groomed, and customer-focused attitude Ability to handle cash and billing software Comfortable standing for long hours Preferred Qualities Experience in silver or fashion jewellery sales Ability to upsell and cross-sell products Local language fluency and basic English/Hindi Team player with a positive attitude Work Details Work Location: Showroom-based Working Hours: As per showroom timings Salary: As per experience + incentives/commission
