Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Monitor and support Java/J2EE applications in production environments
Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within SLA
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve issues
Handle batch failures, performance issues, and production outages
Analyze logs and prepare incident and RCA reports
Handle change requests, deployments, and environment upgrades

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE application architecture
Experience in handling production support in a 24x7 or shift-based model
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.)
Proficient in Linux/Unix commands and SQL queries
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Prior experience in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is a plus
