Role Overview

As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for Citigroup’s banking and asset finance systems. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain

  RESTful APIs

  and microservices using

  Java Spring Boot

  .
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement

  secure coding practices

  and ensure compliance with financial industry standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with

  CI/CD pipelines

  for automated builds and deployments.
• Integrate applications with databases and third-party services.
• Participate in

  code reviews

  , unit testing, and documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in

  Java

  and

  Spring Boot

  framework.
• Experience in

  REST API development

  microservices architecture

• Knowledge of

  JPA/Hibernate

  and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
