Job Overview

Lead Java Spark Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using

  Apache Spark

• Build and enhance

  Java / Spring Boot microservices

• Implement real-time and batch processing using

  Kafka and Spark

• Write secure, high-quality, and maintainable code with best practices
• Perform

  code reviews, refactoring, and technical troubleshooting

• Design solutions considering upstream and downstream system impacts
• Work with large and diverse datasets to support data-driven decisions
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins and Maven/Gradle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
• Support stable, resilient, and high-availability application development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9–12 years of experience in software development

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Apache Spark

• Strong expertise in

  Core Java, J2EE

• Extensive experience with

  Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices

• Hands-on experience with

  Kafka or streaming technologies

• Strong experience with

  Oracle RDBMS

• Experience with

  Git

  and source control tools
• Good understanding of

  CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle)

• Exposure to

  cloud technologies and containers

• Strong understanding of secure and resilient system design

Good to Have

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to

  public cloud platforms

• Experience with

  Splunk and Dynatrace
