Job Description

Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design and build backend services and RESTful APIs using modern Java (Java 8+)
Own modules end-to-end — from design and development to deployment and support
Work with Spring Boot and related frameworks to build scalable microservices
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code that follows best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Product, QA, and UI
Improve system reliability, performance, and monitoring
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and contribute to technical decisions

Requirements

3–6 years of experience building backend applications using Java
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and REST APIs
Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with distributed systems, caching (Redis), and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
Understanding of CI/CD workflows, Git, and containerized environments (Docker)
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Good communication and a team-first mindset

Bonus Points For

Experience with Kubernetes or any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Exposure to domain-driven design, clean architecture, or event-driven systems
Experience working in high-scale or high-availability environments
