Title: Java Production Support Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Consultant shall provide Support Services for GTP Enterprise Compute. Consultant will provide a project team to support the current activities:
Provide addition capacity and support to L2 & L3 team activities.
Respond to and resolve tickets routed by client
Participate in on-call rotations to include both weekly and weekend support as schedule dictates.
Monitor ad hoc requested from Home Office Team
Assist in VMWare and Nutanix design and operations.
Generalist skills with Linux or Windows, VMware, and hardware support
Ability to coordinate support with third-party vendors and OEM
Some scripting knowledge, preferably in Python
Ability to support a mix of Linux and Windows environments, as well as VMware and Citrix
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hardware components and models
Familiarity with third-party vendor management and OEM support processes
Desire to grow developer skills, with experience in scripting (PowerShell or Python)
