.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level software development and production support in dynamic sectors such as banking and logistics. You will be part of an agile team, responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining web and desktop-based business applications while ensuring seamless integration between systems. The position combines troubleshooting and development, requiring you to resolve technical issues efficiently, document processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with modern Java frameworks, AWS cloud services, and relational databases to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is fully remote, providing flexibility while enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates are proactive, technically skilled, and passionate about delivering reliable, scalable software.
Accountabilities:
- Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving errors, ensuring minimal downtime for business applications
- Log detailed incident reports and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Assist the Development Manager/Senior Developer with software design, coding, and process improvements
- Develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based applications in an agile environment
- Build and optimize integrations between applications and systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks, including Spring, Spring AOP, Hibernate, Groovy, and Struts
- Experience with reporting tools such as JasperReports
- Proficiency with web servers such as Apache Tomcat
- Experience working with relational databases, including MySQL and MS SQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3SFTP
- Exposure to banking and logistics domains is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an agile team
