Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities:

∙ Maintain, support, and enhance existing legacy J2EE applications (Servlets, JSP, JDBC)

∙ Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and provide L3-level support

∙ Implement bug fixes, enhancements, and change requests on legacy J2EE systems

∙ Analyse existing codebases and document current system behaviour

∙ Refactor and migrate selected modules from J2EE to Spring Boot

∙ Design and develop Spring Boot applications and RESTful APIs

∙ Write unit and integration tests

∙ Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills:

∙ Strong proficiency in Core Java

J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC)

∙ Working experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

∙ Experience in building and consuming REST APIs

∙ Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA)

∙ Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

∙ Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to Have:

∙ Experience with IBM WebSphere and DB2

∙ Experience in application modernization or migration projects

∙ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle)

∙ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

∙ Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
