We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic QA team in Pune. In this role, you will take ownership of backend API automation and help define quality assurance strategies for cloud-based software used by millions globally. What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in test automation, especially for backend services.
• Strong hands-on skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with REST API automation tools like Rest Assured, Karate, etc.
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), version control (Git), and issue tracking (Jira).
• Strong understanding of the testing pyramid and a passion for quality.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end automated tests for RESTful APIs.
• Define and maintain the QA strategy for your scrum team, including test planning and release management practices.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand requirements and build comprehensive test plans.
• Champion test automation best practices, with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in test stability and coverage.
• Mentor peers in automation strategies and testing frameworks.
