Java Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in building scalable, distributed, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills in Java-17+, Spring Boot-3.0.0+, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) as a primary focus. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications with high availability and performance. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java-17+, Spring Boot-3.0.0+, and Spring MVC-3.0.0+. Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging solutions. Work with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and complex queries. Design, deploy, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for container orchestration. Hands-on experience with Microservices. Ensure solutions are scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure, following industry best practices. Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Implement CI/CD pipelines and participate in automated testing and deployment. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote coding best practices. Troubleshoot and optimize system performance across distributed services. Ensure applications adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards. Stay updated with emerging technologies, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. Primary Skills: Hands-on expertise in Java-17, Spring 3.0.0+, Spring MVC 3.0.0+, and Spring Boot 3.0.0+, Microservices. Hands-on experience with Kafka for distributed messaging and streaming. Strong Proficiency and Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design. Strong working experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development. Hands-on experience with Splunk. Hands-on experience with ELK. Hands-on experience test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, or similar). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
