Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated IX-API Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing and integrating IX-API-based solutions, with a comprehensive understanding of internet exchange (IX) operations, network automation, and API-driven architectures. You will be instrumental in creating scalable, efficient systems that support our evolving network infrastructure and service delivery platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain IX-API-based applications for internet exchange platforms. Integrate IX-API with both internal systems and third-party services. Collaborate with network engineering and DevOps teams to automate provisioning and configuration tasks. Ensure IX-API implementations conform to industry standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API integrations and performance. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including API specifications and integration workflows. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven hands-on experience with IX-API development and integration. Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI specifications. Solid knowledge of internet exchange operations, BGP routing, and IP networking. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Proficiency in network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with EVPN, VXLAN, or other modern networking protocols. Contributions to open-source IX-API projects or active community involvement. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Show more Show less
