Job Summary

We are seeking experienced ITI Fitters to support mechanical maintenance activities across our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role involves installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production in a GMP-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of plant machinery, piping systems, and utilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repair of mechanical systems such as pumps, agitators, gearboxes, AHUs, HVAC ducting, compressors, and utility lines.
• Ensure proper alignment, balancing, and lubrication of mechanical components.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of critical mechanical equipment and maintain maintenance logs.
• Assist in equipment installation and mechanical modifications as per production requirements.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and GMP/GLP guidelines during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in shutdown maintenance, overhauls, and project work as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of mechanical fittings, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Basic understanding of GMP and cleanroom practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, or pipe fitting is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Familiarity with maintenance of cleanroom equipment and GMP documentation.
• Should have ITI Certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
