Job Description

Position: IT Support Executive / IT Administrator/ IT Systems Executive/ Technical Support Executive/ IT Coordinator

Department: Information Technology

Location: Karkhana, Secunderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing and supporting the organizations IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of systems, networks, hardware, and software. The role involves troubleshooting, user support, system maintenance, and coordination with vendors for IT-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support operating systems (Windows/macOS) and company-approved applications.

2. Network & Systems Management

  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Ensure system security through antivirus, patch updates, and firewalls.
  • Maintain server backup processes and assist in server administration.

3. IT Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain an updated inventory of all IT hardware and software.
  • Coordinate AMC, repairs, and replacements with vendors.
  • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.

4. User Management & Access Control

  • Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and email setups.
  • Support cloud applications such as Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
  • Ensure data security and adherence to IT policies.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain logs of IT issues, resolutions, and preventive measures.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.

6. IT Projects & Process Improvement

  • Assist in implementation of new technologies, upgrades, and digital initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for IT needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Executive / IT Administrator.
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of servers, virtualization, and cloud services (added advantage).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
