IT Support Specialist

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and maintaining systems to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, supporting users, and managing the company's IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be expected to provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and IT equipment. Additionally, you will troubleshoot system errors, connectivity issues, and software malfunctions. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, servers, printers, and network devices will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will need to ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are in place and support end-users with email, VPN, internet, and application-related queries. Maintaining IT asset inventory, updating records, and assisting in implementing new technologies and system upgrades are also key tasks. Collaborating with external vendors for IT support and procurement when required is essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support is preferred, but freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply. You should have a strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, as well as familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and commonly used applications, along with a basic understanding of cybersecurity practices, is necessary. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates. The work location is in person.,
