IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist at our company, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, provide end-user support, and maintain security and efficiency across all business operations. Your role will involve installing, configuring, and supporting workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones. Additionally, you will analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and implement IT solutions to enhance efficiency. You will also be responsible for executing system and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration to ensure seamless business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones. - Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and implement IT solutions to boost efficiency. - Execute system and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration to ensure seamless business operations. - Implement application/software upgrades and troubleshoot performance issues. - Provide technical support and training to employees for effective use of IT systems and tools. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration. - Proficient in TCP/IP networking with hands-on experience in server management and administration. - Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Mac), IT equipment, enterprise backup/recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information. - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
