IT Support Officer (Mumbai)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provides end-to-end support for shore and vessel users by resolving hardware, software, and system-related tickets. Performs routine maintenance to prevent issues, responds promptly to critical alerts, and manages Level 1–3 escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.

• Maintains comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and issue resolutions to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer. Provides training to users and IT staff, and develops user guides and support materials to promote effective learning and system adoption.

• Supports IT procurement, system deployments, and works with vendors to deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Performs additional tasks as required to support IT initiatives and contribute to the organization's overall strategic objectives

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in IT, computer science or similar
• Azure, MCSA/MCSE, Sharepoint Certifications
• ITIL Foundation and CCNA certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT role
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment as a team
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of IT systems and infrastructure
• CISSP
• Experience with the maritime industry preferred
• Sufficient mobility to complete equipment installations, cabling and other setup tasks
