IT Support Engineer

Job Summary

The IT Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of IT operations across the organization. The role involves resolving hardware/software problems, managing networks, and assisting employees with technical queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to all employees for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, email configurations, network connectivity, and internal applications.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security as per company policies.
• Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment repair, AMC, and procurement.
• Maintain inventory of IT hardware, accessories, and software licenses.
• Support in setting up new workstations, network points, and onboarding technical requirements for new joiners.
• Ensure regular backups and maintain data security protocols.
• Document all issues, resolutions, and IT processes for internal records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or desktop support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, and system configurations.
• Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, and antivirus tools.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ticketing tools or IT support management systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) is a plus.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, or MCP are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
