Service Engineer – IT Infrastructure & Security 📍 Location: Lucknow| 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time Overview We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer – IT Infrastructure & Security to join our team. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure and security systems for both internal operations and clients. You will work extensively with UTM devices, firewalls, switches, and routers to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance network operations. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain UTM devices, firewalls, switches, and routers. Implement and update firewall rules, VLAN configurations, and security policies. Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and configuration issues. Monitor device logs for anomalies and perform preventive maintenance. Provide onsite and remote client support within agreed SLAs. Deploy new network solutions, configure VPNs, and manage upgrades/patches. Ensure compliance with security best practices and document all service activities. Skills & Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Hands-on experience with UTM, firewall configuration, VLAN, and switching. Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, and DNS. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and client interaction skills. Preferred: Experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, or SonicWall. Knowledge of basic network security principles. Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA. Working ConditionsField-based role with travel to client locations.
