IT Sales & Marketing Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and driven IT Sales & Marketing Executive to promote and sell our software product & services. This individual will be responsible for developing local market strategies, generating leads, converting prospects, and building long-term relationships with customers across industries.

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation:

• Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, field visits, digital outreach, and networking
• Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients
• Convert leads into active customers and maintain a healthy sales pipeline

Market Analysis & Strategy:

• Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
• Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for local regions

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Gather client feedback and relay it to the product and support teams

Marketing & Branding:

• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to run local campaigns (email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.)
• Participate in trade shows, tech events, and exhibitions to showcase the product

Reporting & Coordination:

• Maintain detailed records of marketing and sales activity using CRM tools
• Provide regular updates on targets, performance metrics, and market feedback to the management

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in software product & servicing sales or marketing.
• Good understanding of local market dynamics in India
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with both digital and on-ground marketing approaches
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with IT related work is a plus
• Willingness to travel locally as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
