Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager, with 5-7 years of experience to oversee and manage the successful delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to deadlines and within budget, while managing stakeholders and project teams. Key Responsibilities: Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal teams and third-party contractors or consultants. Conduct risk management analysis to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and communicated effectively. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistent project success. Leadcross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring accountability. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field. 5-7years of experience in IT project management, with a track record of managing multiple complex projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in project management software tools (eg, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello). Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and IT service management is a plus
