Job Description

Job Summary

The IT Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within approved scope and budget, and aligned with business objectives and IT PMO governance standards. The role requires strong ownership of planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management across internal teams and third-party partners. The Project Manager must possess sufficient technical understanding to challenge solution designs, manage integrations, assess delivery risks, and translate business requirements into executable deliverables within Agile or Hybrid delivery models.

Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)

Strong experience in IT Project Management with end-to-end ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and quality Expertise in project delivery lifecycle management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure Strong capability in integrated planning, dependency management, critical path analysis, and re-planning Hands-on experience with RAID management, proactive escalation, and change control Strong stakeholder and sponsor management with clear executive-level communication Vendor and third-party delivery management including contract and milestone tracking Financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile / Hybrid delivery models Ability to understand, challenge, and assess technical solutions involving systems, integrations, and environments Experience coordinating testing, release, deployment, and IT service transition Strong decision-making, accountability, and problem-solving skills Adherence to IT PMO governance, audit, and compliance standards Experience with reporting, dashboards, progress tracking, and executive communication Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, MS Office, and SharePoint

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)

Experience in benefits realization and change management Exposure to IT service transition and operational readiness activities Team leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience Conflict management and negotiation skills Experience working in complex, multi-vendor and multi-stakeholder environments Prior experience in regulated or compliance-driven IT environments

Qualifications & Experience

6+ years of experience in IT Project Management or IT Delivery roles Proven experience delivering enterprise IT projects involving systems, integrations, and vendors Strong experience working with PMO governance frameworks and reporting standards Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders Experience working in fast-paced, evolving IT environments
