Description
As an Agile Scrum Master at our company, your role will involve being an expert in agile techniques and leading change management by influencing and facilitating Agile practices in new environments. You will be responsible for providing effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and setting a powerful example for the team. Your guidance, coaching, and direction will be crucial in maturing and optimizing Agile execution methodologies through constant improvement of Agile application principles and processes. **Responsibilities:** - Own, advocate, and coach Agile (scrum) processes to ensure the team follows the framework and continuously looks for opportunities to improve - Serve as Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams, upholding Agile values and principles and facilitating Agile ceremonies - Focus teams on delivering value quickly and foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement - Coordinate with other Agile teams for complex projects - Take action based on retrospectives and sprint team metrics to enhance sprint team execution approaches and team velocity - Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, Sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings - Track and communicate sprint/release progress via information radiators - Play a leadership role in delivering complex technology and business solutions - Champion the Scrum way-of-life across development teams and support iterative and collaborative development - Escalate and resolve impediments to help the team ship code - Coach teams on the basics of Scrum or Kanban as needed - Adopt standard practices for Scrum Management, Sprint planning, program management, Metrics management, and reporting - Guide and coach the Scrum Team and organization on using Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet program objectives - Cultivate an environment of trust, team growth, creativity, and empower the team to self-organize - Work with the Product Owner to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and attainment of project objectives - Protect the team from outside interference, remove impediments, and ensure work is delivered as a team - Ensure the scrum team adheres to core agile principles of collaboration, task prioritization, team accountability, and visibility - Ensure adherence to Citi Agile SDLC processes and procedures - Act as an advisor or ad-hoc coach to those new to Agile methodology and guide them in the adoption of Agile software development practices - Guide scrum team(s) on managing dependencies between teams and third parties when making Sprint commitments - Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and development of long-term roadmaps **Qualifications:** - Total 8-14 years of experience and 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Methodologies - Strong communication skills - Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum practices, Confluence, Jira, collaboration tools, and reporting - Proficiency in Kanban, Extreme programming, release planning - Strong knowledge of Scrum Management, Sprint, and Release planning - Experience running Agile at scale as a SAFe RTE or Scrum of Scrum manager - Experience in multiple Scrum teams in different contexts Your education should include a Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.,
