Job Description

IT Manager -The Job Overview:

  • Develop and execute the overall IT strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT department

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of IT projects

  • Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources

  • Monitor, evaluate and develop the performance of existing and new IT systems,

  • Lead efforts to develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors

  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)

  • Work closely with cross functional departments

  • Build and maintain a skilled IT team

  • Lead the integration of new systems and technologies

  • Drive automation and process improvement across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities of IT Manager-(70% System Implementation and 30% Hardware)

1- ERP Implementation and initial evaluation of various software solutions.

2-Evaluating existing application to understand the current process and its functionality.

3-Understanding the process of each departments and preparing of work flow chart.

4-Understanding and documentation of additional requirement from departments for ERP.

5-Existing IT Setup support where ever required.

6 -Regular guidance to IT department.

7-IT Project Infrastructure - Management of existing and new setup .

8-Helpdesk software - evaluation, testing, implementation .

9-New requirement analysis and implementation IT Hardware and Software.

10-Purchase of new products and Services as per requirement.

11-Enhancement of existing IT Setup.

12-Administration of software - This includes regular support to users and Coordination with vendors for troubleshooting Spine HRMS, CRM, Zoho Projects, Tally ERP.

13-CCTV camera systems for outdoor & indoor surveillance for E-142 and E-25 Plant with configuration.

14-Vendor Support Coordination - HO, E 142, E25 and PAN India .

15-Pan India IT new requirement .

16-Vendor Coordination - Internet Service HO, E142, E25 .

17-Server Administration - E 142, Cloud Server.

18-Follow up/Co ordinate with associated departments for smooth function of IT infra with all external and internal teams as and when required .

19-Responsible to manage spares stock for all IT requirement .

20- Responsible to manage Email accounts to ensure working of all internal and external mail communications .

21- Maintaining and tracking of complaint logs related to ILL for all branches.

22-Monitors and ensures good connectivity and maintaining backups of all operational cameras of all Branches and ensure that all cameras are working with branches recordings in all.

23-Reviews and monitors Mailing solutions of all branches to ensure that proper service is being provided and support remotely with coordination with mail solution provider.

24-Logs reports to be maintained of each complaint raised.

25-Regulatory and Statutory Compliance, updating of software license of all units to be done on regular basis.

26-Establishes, monitors and maintains inventories of equipment, IT Asset Forms and other items required for all branches and send to head office for issue of items.

28-Maintaining and taking of users backups with good co-ordinations with Admin Officers of all branches.

29-Reviews and monitoring proper IT inventories of all branches.

30-Establishes, monitors and maintains inventories of equipment.

31-IT Asset Forms and other items required for all branches and send to head office for issue of items.

32-Monitoring of Network & UPS of all branches and checklist and reports to be maintained for all branches and periodical

33-Preventative Maintenance.

34-Software License maintaining, records, audit of all Software

35-All branches and unwanted software to be removed with OEM or Licensed products. J

Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering. or relevant certifications

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 8 - 15 years of experience in IT field and minimum 5 years in leadership role as IT Manager((Working in an EPC or Engineering Industry)
