Role & responsibilities We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Head / IT Manager to lead the IT function at our manufacturing facilities in Bavla, Ahmedabad. This role demands strong expertise in SAP Business One (HANA), IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end ERP operations, IT infrastructure, and ensure high availability of systems across multiple plant locations. Key Responsibilities **IT Strategy & Alignment** Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with the organizations operational and business goals. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize digital initiatives that drive efficiency and value. **SAP Leadership (SAP B1 HANA Functional & Technical)** *General knowledge to Linux Operating system Oversee implementation, upgrades, and support of SAP Business One (HANA). Ensure seamless integration of SAP. Lead SAP addon development, query design, Crystal Report generation, and system optimization. **Infrastructure & Operations** Manage IT assets including servers, networking equipment, CCTV, biometric attendance, and end-user systems. Ensure high availability and smooth functioning of IT infrastructure across all plant locations. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and oversee preventive maintenance schedules. **Cybersecurity & Compliance** Implement enterprise-grade cybersecurity protocols; monitor risks and respond to incidents. Conduct regular audits, penetration testing, and disaster recovery drills. Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and ISO:27001 standards. **Governance & Budget Management** Plan and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and ROI. Manage sourcing and procurement of software, licenses, and IT services. **Team Leadership & Vendor Management** Lead and mentor the IT team across plant locations. Manage third-party vendors, SAP consultants, and hardware providers to ensure service quality and uptime. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT management with direct exposure to ERP (preferably SAP B1 – HANA). Hands-on experience with SAP B1 query writing, routine functions, report extraction, and addon modules. Proficient in Crystal Report development and SQL queries. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills. Familiarity with ISO:27001 information Security Management System. Experience in multi-location manufacturing IT setups is highly desirable.
