Job Description

As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership and managing all aspects of the IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing information technology and computer systems. - Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations. - Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures. - Acting in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy. - Proactively analyzing, identifying, and providing remedies to potential issues with IT systems. - Ensuring security of data, network access, and backup systems. - Preserving assets, information security, and control structures. - Handling the annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness. - Demonstrating expertise in data center management and data governance. - Providing data/server backups support. - Having hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation. - Planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. - Fully managing the company's security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and detection systems. - Auditing systems and assessing their outcomes. - Being responsible for IT procurement and asset management stock control. - Managing IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance. - Designing and implementing best practice IT policies. - Being willing to work in the night shift should operational and emergency protocols require it. In terms of technical skills, you must have expertise in the following areas: - Firewall / UTMs like Sonicwall, Cyberoam, Sophos, or any similar systems. - Linux systems such as CentOS or RedHat Linux. - Windows Server. - Good knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN/NAS along with RAID technologies. - VMware server virtualization. - CISCO - L2/L3 switches. - Networking, Azure, AWS, and Routing. - Good knowledge of backup and maintenance with various backup solutions. - Command over security technologies and network management.
