Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

IT & Digital Strategy

• Define and implement enterprise-wide IT & digital transformation roadmap aligned with business growth objectives.
• Drive digitization and digitalization initiatives to enhance revenue, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives, ERP modernization, AI/ML-driven analytics, and automation programs.

Technology & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, MES, SCM, CRM, BI), and system integrations.
• Ensure uptime, business continuity, and robust cybersecurity across all technology platforms.
• Establish and enforce IT governance, risk, compliance, and security frameworks.

Business Transformation & Innovation

• Build and scale digital platforms for customer engagement, supplier collaboration, and employee productivity.
• Partner with R&D, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to deploy smart solutions (IoT, predictive analytics, digital sales, and learning platforms).
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve KPIs and operational efficiency.

Program & Vendor Management

• Lead multi-million-dollar IT CAPEX/OPEX budgets and ensure ROI on technology investments.
• Manage strategic IT vendor relationships, service-level agreements, and cloud/digital partners.
• Drive enterprise project management standards for on-time, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead and mentor large cross-functional IT teams (100+ members), ensuring high performance and an innovation-driven culture.
• Foster collaboration across business units and create a seamless digital workplace environment.

• Champion diversity and inclusion by building balanced leadership pipelines, creating equitable opportunities, and nurturing an inclusive workplace culture.

• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and BI metrics to measure IT performance and business impact.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education

  : B.Tech in Computer Science / MCA / equivalent degree in Computers.

• Experience

  : 20+ years in IT leadership roles with proven expertise in the

  industrial/manufacturing sector

  .
• Strong background in ERP (Oracle/SAP), BI/Analytics, AI/ML, automation, and digital transformation programs.
• Proven success in managing IT integration across multiple business units and global subsidiaries.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large-scale budgets, enterprise-wide projects, and high-performing teams.
• Certifications or executive programs in Digital Transformation, Technology Leadership, or Innovation (preferred).

• Track record of fostering diverse teams, inclusive leadership practices, and cultural transformation.
