IT Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Hardware Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's computer hardware systems, networking components, and peripheral devices. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth hardware operations across all departments and support internal users in hardware and system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.

Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.

Monitor and maintain inventory of all IT hardware assets.

Set up and support LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and wireless access points.

Support operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software installations where hardware integration is required.

Handle BIOS-level configurations and firmware updates.

Maintain proper documentation of hardware configurations and service records.

Collaborate with vendors for procurement, warranty support, and repairs.

Support IT team in infrastructure projects, server room setup, and backup hardware.

Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and hardware compliance standards.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of computer hardware, chipsets, motherboards, processors, RAM, hard drives, etc.

Familiarity with network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls.

Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic scripting (PowerShell or batch preferred).

Basic understanding of Active Directory and network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

Soft Skills:

Good communication and documentation skills.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications like CompTIA A+, N+, MCSE, or Cisco CCNA.

Experience in IT support ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
