Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for acquisition, deployment and maintenance of appropriate hardware, software, other IT assets or accessories and IT services across all operational locations.
• Responsible for effective and efficient management of user access processes and privileges.
• Responsible for user infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new developments to support company operational needs.
• Responsible for resolution of helpdesk tickets and other IT issues escalated within SLA or given timelines.
• Responsible for conduct of tests or mock drills and update to ensure effectiveness of existing Disaster Recorvery and Business Continuity Plan of IT Infrastructure division.
• To significantly contribute in setting up SOPs for user infrastructure and services management and its implementation.
• To assist in recording and management of user infra incidents, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurences.
• To assist in preparation and management of user infrastructure and services budget and spends, aiming for cost effective solutions without compromising on quality.
• To assist in effective vendor management to source hardware, software and services required for IT operations and evaluation of performance.
• To assist in effective management of IT Infrastructure team, provides mentorship, training and performance evaluation.
• To assist in fulfilling all documentation and reporting requirements as needed by the organisation and as per the direction of reporting manager.
• To assist in taking up orientation sessions to all the stakeholders on information security or IT policies and procedures, latest technologies and threats.
• To stay updated and take up need based R and D activities on latest or emerging technologies related to user infrastructure and services as per business requirements.
• To stay updated with roles and responsibilities of other IT Executives in IT Infrastructure and take up the same as needed and as per direction of Head IT.
• Should take care of Roles and Responsibilities of Manager IT Infrastructure in his absence, subject to approval and as advised by Head IT.
• Acts as 2nd Point of Contact (POC) for Head IT and 1st POC for the regional team for all IT Infrastructure related matters.
• Acts as 2nd PoC for all Regions or Plants and other work locations for any IT related issues, including Scada and CCTV related concerns.
• Should take up any activity or task as advised by Head IT.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong administration skills on Windows/Linux platforms, end user devices management on on-premise and on-cloud environments Thorough knowledge on desktop computing technologies, other emerging technologies and ability to correlate them with user requirements .
• Thorough knowledge in cyber security and latest technological advancements in the domain of network & security.
• Manageable skills in Server Infrastructure and Network & Security domains .
• Manageable skills in projects management.
