Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. System Support & Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance (disk clean-up, software updates, performance checks).
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.

2. MS Office & Email Support

  • Provide user support for MS Office applications.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Outlook accounts and email syncing.

3. Server & Network Support

  • Assist in managing server room infrastructure and performance.
  • Support LAN/WAN connectivity, IP configuration, and internet issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors for network and server-related support.

4. Security & Antivirus Management

  • Install, update, and monitor antivirus across all systems.
  • Conduct routine scans and address security risks or breaches.

5. Printer & Peripheral Support

  • Configure and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and driver issues.

6. IT Asset Management

  • Maintain and update the IT Asset Register.
  • Manage issuance and return of assets during onboarding/offboarding.
  • Inspect, format, and redeploy returned equipment.
  • Track asset movement and ensure accountability.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Log IT issues, resolutions, and preventive actions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on IT activities and asset status.
  • Support IT audits and inventory verification.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Diploma / Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience:

    1–3 years in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or hardware/network maintenance.
  • Preferred Certifications:

    CompTIA A+, MCDST, or equivalent.
