Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) Intern, you will assist the Business Development team in driving business growth and exploring new opportunities. This role will provide exposure to sales strategies, client relations, market research, and overall business development processes. You’ll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:
  • Assist in identifying potential markets and clients.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
  • Help generate new business leads through email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Assist in outreach to prospective clients, managing initial communications.
  • Client Relationship Support:
  • Aid in maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and other forms of communication between clients and the team.
  • Sales Support:
  • Support the BDM team in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Track sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product to support business development efforts.
  • Reporting:
  • Assist in compiling regular reports on business development activities, lead conversion rates, and market insights.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other business tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship experience in business development or sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
