As an IT Administrator at our company, your role will involve managing and supporting the IT infrastructure to ensure system security, data integrity, and smooth IT operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring system security & data integrity through regular backups, antivirus updates, and applying security patches. - Providing technical support & troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems. - Managing networking tasks such as switches, routers, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. - Performing asset management by maintaining records of IT hardware, software, and licenses. - Monitoring system performance and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime. - Assisting in solving Wi-Fi, router, and connectivity issues for smooth operations. - Collaborating with internal teams to identify IT needs and implement solutions. You should possess the following skills and competencies: - Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux administration. - Hands-on experience in networking, routers, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. - Familiarity with data backup, antivirus, and security patch management. - Problem-solving ability with excellent technical support & troubleshooting skills. - Good knowledge of asset management and IT documentation. - Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an IT Administrator / IT Support Engineer. - Relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory): CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or Linux certifications.
