Job Profile

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Raw Material Inspection and Approval:

  Conduct visual inspections and verification of incoming raw materials to ensure they meet the company's specifications and quality standards. This includes checking for correct labeling, damage, and ensuring the integrity of the packaging.

• Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Verify and maintain accurate records of all raw material receipts, sampling, and testing activities.
• Assist in the review of raw material certificates of analysis (CoA) and other related documents.

• Sampling:

• Perform or assist in the sampling of raw materials as per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Raw Material Weightage check
• Ensure that sampling is done in a controlled environment to prevent contamination.
• Properly label and transport samples to the Quality Control (QC) laboratory for testing.

• Line Clearance:

• Conduct pre-production line clearance checks to ensure the dispensing and production areas are clean and free of remnants from previous batches.
• Verify the cleanliness status of equipment and the area before a new batch of raw materials is weighed or dispensed.

• Compliance and Audits:

• Monitor raw material handling and storage activities to ensure adherence to GMP and internal quality policies.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to raw materials.

• Collaboration:

  Work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially with the warehouse and production staff, to address quality-related issues and ensure a smooth flow of materials.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Experience:

  A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or a related manufacturing industry.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GMP and Quality Assurance principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
