Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for an IPDRG Coder and QA. The responsibilities include ensuring accurate coding for InPatient Diagnosis-Related Grouping (IPDRG), performing quality assurance on medical coding, addressing data discrepancies, and staying updated with industry coding standards and guidelines. The role entails collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining data accuracy, and complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in IPDRG coding and a thorough understanding of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
• Experience in quality assurance processes and resolving medical coding discrepancies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with healthcare teams and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in reviewing and auditing documentation to achieve error-free coding
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in medical coding
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in an on-site, fast-paced environment
• Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCS-P) is required
• Previous experience in a similar role or the healthcare industry is preferred
