About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IoT Engineer with a strong background in automotive ECU design, PCB design, firmware development, and AI edge computing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in CAN, ISO, and all major automotive communication protocols and hands-on experience in IoT and embedded systems development.

Key Responsibilities:

* ECU Design & Development: Design and develop automotive-grade ECU hardware and firmware for connected vehicle applications.

* PCB Design & Hardware Development: Develop schematics and PCB layouts for automotive IoT and ECU systems.

* Firmware Development: Implement and optimize embedded firmware with a focus on CAN, LIN, UDS, and ISO 26262 compliance.

* Automotive Protocols: Work with CAN, J1939, UDS, LIN, and other automotive communication protocols.

* AI & Edge Computing: Develop AI-enabled IoT solutions for real-time data processing at the edge.

* IoT System Integration: Integrate IoT-enabled ECU solutions with cloud platforms and automotive telematics systems.

* Testing & Validation: Perform HIL, SIL, and functional testing for ECU and IoT applications.

* Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO 21434).

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in automotive IoT, ECU design, and firmware development.

* Strong expertise in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, J1939, ISO 14229).

* Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar).

* Proficiency in embedded C/C++, RTOS, and ARM-based microcontrollers.

* Experience with AI edge computing frameworks (TensorFlow Lite, Edge Impulse, etc.).

* Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP) and cloud integration.

* Familiarity with functional safety and cybersecurity standards in automotive.

* Ability to work with hardware debugging tools (Oscilloscope, CANalyzer, CANoe, JTAG, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with OTA updates for automotive IoT systems.

* Knowledge of Python for data processing & AI model deployment on embedded systems.

* Hands-on experience with automotive-grade microcontrollers (NXP, ST, TI, Renesas, etc.).

* Familiarity with wireless connectivity solutions (BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G for automotive IoT).
